We have developed our Q3E and igutex TX 1 multi-component plain bearings for applications with high forces. These combine excellent sliding properties with high robustness for a long service life. With Schleppfix, the Swiss company Brunner Spezialwerkstatt AG has developed an innovative and emission-reducing slurry spreading system for futuristic agriculture. Lubrication-free polymer plain bearings from igus are used for all moving components.

Wear-resistant plastic gears made of iglidur high-performance polymers
Our iglidur gears are lubrication-free and maintenance-free and are characterised by high wear resistance. They have proven themselves in various applications and have been tested in our test laboratory. We support you in selecting the right material and production technology for customised gears.

Customised spare part
After some time, the gear that served as the starter for the tractor's engine was so worn that the tractor could no longer start. The manufacturer was unable to provide a replacement and so the tractor remained out of service. After about a year without a tractor, it was to be scrapped. However, the igus 3D printing team came into action shortly beforehand and was able to reproduce the worn and broken gear and print it in just a few hours.

Self-aligning bearing elements
igubal spherical bearings are self-aligning, maintenance-free bearing elements made entirely of plastic. Depending on the material selected, they can be used at temperatures of up to +200°C. The entire igubal joint system is insensitive to dust and dirt and is corrosion-free.

Lubrication-free polymer bearing technology for cow-cleaning machines
A robust igubal EFOM flange mounted bearing, a standard design element, is used to support the shaft end of a cow-cleaning brush. It consists of a housing made of igumid G, characterised by its extreme impact resistance, and a spherical ball made of the highly wear-resistant material iglidur W300.

How does the hydraulic fluid get to the attachment at the top of the telescopic mast?
