Safe and flexible guidance of the smallest hose < Ø 1 mm is the functional description of the innovative igus® e-cord micro cable carrier system. The flexible e-cord micro can be assembled modularly and thus customised to the movement in the machine. The predefined radii prevent the hose from kinking and ensure a smooth process without machine downtime.

The actual capillary tube is only as large as the needle of a syringe. To ensure that the capillary tube can be moved dynamically over the long term, it must not be bent to a radius of less than 45 mm. The e-cord micro was developed for this purpose. The capillary tube is first placed in a hose and this hose is then clipped into the holder. The flexible system now allows movements in several axes and the radius of 45mm is given throughout.
