Lightweight, lubrication-free and durable bearings

In addition to aesthetic appeal, good design also includes functionality. The PLUSminus luminaire is the product of Slovenian designer Matej Štefanac and fulfils precisely these conditions. The lamp can be easily and smoothly adjusted vertically and horizontally and locks into position when released.

The centrepiece for movement: Bearings made of the material iglidur G, our all-rounders for the most diverse applications. Thanks to their incorporated solid lubricants, they - like all our plastic bearings - do not require any lubrication. Without lubricant, no dirt sticks to them, which ensures that the sliding lamp parts continue to move smoothly and saves on annoying maintenance work. The bearings also score points with their lightweight feature compared to metal bushings, making them a perfect fit for the lightweight design concept.
